Effects of Drug Trafficking in Latin America

Effects of Drug Trafficking in Latin AmericaThere are some effects of drug trafficking in Latin America that are becoming increasingly apparent. While the number of drug smugglers and suppliers is down a bit, the increased use of illegal drugs and the increase in the quantity of drugs being smuggled in at each border crossing have made this one of the most violent areas in the world. This article will discuss some of the effects of drug trafficking in Latin America. The major effect of drug trafficking in Latin America is the massive murder rate in Mexico. Mexico was once a safe country to live in, but now most of the people there have been affected by drug trafficking. Many of the murders are associated with drug trafficking as well. The main street gangs of Mexico are also related to drug trafficking. In addition to murders, most of the people who are killed are related to drug trafficking in the states of Coahuila, Chihuahua, and Tamaulipas state. Almost everyone of all ages has los t a family member to homicide. This violence is the major source of anger and frustration for many in Latin America.Another major effect of drug trafficking in Latin America is political unrest. Many governments have been toppled in South America because of corruption in the government and the public's lack of trust. Many of the opposition politicians are being forced from power because of this increase in crime. Many of the people who are affected by drug trafficking in Latin America do not understand what social unrest is and the effects it has on the area. The largest percentage of people who lose their lives from violence and drug trafficking are the people of Latin America. There are often fights between the criminals and the police and this has caused an increase in the crime rate. When the war between the government and the criminals is over, then the effects of drug trafficking in Latin America will be removed. Many people in Latin America do not want to wait until the problem has been dealt with and they will have to put up with the effects of the violent crime and violence that accompany it. The United States of America should do whatever it takes to get these problems solved in Latin America. Many more lives will be lost if this problem is not solved. The laws that allow the sale of drugs are taking away people's physical abilities. Drugs do not just take away a person's ability to think or to move, but it also does many other things. The effects of drug trafficking in Latin America can cause violence and it is a problem that the United States of America will have to face in the future if it wants to remain a leading nation in the world. As long as there are people involved in the process of making drugs, there will be people involved in the problems that occur when the drugs are sold and the activities that are associated with them. If the United States of America does not make sure that Latin America follows its laws, then there will be more crime and there will be more deaths.
